The World Health Organization (WHO) has rejected a call to either move or postpone this summer’s Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro over the Zika outbreak, saying it would "not significantly alter" the spread of the virus.

Already hit by recession and political turmoil, Brazil has come under more pressure as 150 health experts called for the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro to be postponed or moved because of the Zika epidemic.

Olympians George Bovell 111 ( swimming), Cleopatra Borel (Athletics) along with Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee ( TTOC ) Project Officer Athlete Services and Programmes, Rheeza Grant(volleyball) will travel to Miami, Florida on Monday to represent Trinidad and Tobago at the Pan American Sport Organization(PASO) Continental Athlete Forum - 24-25 May.
